In business since 1983.Forward Express has more than fifty years of experience in customs clearance in Taiwan. That’s right. Fifty years. Forward Express was formerly the Shipping Department of the CHINA Travel Service and was set up as an independent operation in 1983.

Thus Forward Express can offer the knowledge and experience of a staff with expertise in every aspect of customs procedures and clearance. With offices in Taipei, Keelung, Taichung, Kaohsiung, Forward Express has 15 fully-certified customs agents and a hard-working team of administrative personnel. many with more than 25 years of service to customers in shipments to and from Taiwan.

Forward Express offers 24-hour customs clearance thank to an EDI on-line system which maintains constant between each of its offices and the customs clearance system of the Ministry of Finance. This system was established by the MOF as a part of the government’s drive to make Taiwan into an Asia-Pacific Regional Operations Center and has helped to simplify and speed the handling and clearance of shipments through customs at all Taiwan ports.

Froward Express is rated a Class A customs agent by the MOF, meaning the spot check rate for goods handled by Forward Express is one-half the rate for goods handled by agents in other classes. In addition, the MOF has named Forward Express an Outstanding Customs Agent in each of the year since 1993 the honor has been awarded, and the company was also a winner in the First Annual Service Industry Awards held in 1993.  Furthermore, in the year of 2012, Forward Express’s four offices covering Taiwan main ports have approved by Customs of MOF and obtained AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) certificates.  We are the first customs broker in Taiwan who got the AEO certificate approval for all offices located at Keelung, Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung.  The AEO certificate ensures us to strengthen our services abilities, and really benefits our customers who also hold AEO certificate.
